Overseas Countries

Overseas Countries and Territories (OCTs) : are those countries whose nationals are EU citizens but which do not form part of the Community territory. Community laws do not apply to them but they still benefit from associate status conferred on them by the Treaty of Rome, which forms the basis for the current development policy.
